WHO WE ARE
We are the national charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their families, friends and anyone else affected.
MORE ABOUT US
We provide information, practical help, emotional support and advocacy as well as promoting the rights of people affected by crime. We offer a range of services, whether or not a crime has been reported. These are delivered locally by our employees and our volunteers, who are trained to help people cope with the effects of crime. We have offices throughout England and Wales and we run the Witness Service in every criminal court.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
What is most important to us is that you share our organisational values and that you care about people. You will have good interpersonal skills and want to be part of our organisation, which is all about supporting others who have been affected by crime. We have continued to work hard to make LGBT+ staff and volunteers feel supported and this is an ongoing process. The LGBT+ network continues to raise its profile and ensure that our policies and practices are LGBT+-inclusive, in addition to letting LGBT+ colleagues know they have a forum for support.
