Thames Valley Probation (TVP) works in partnership with others to protect the public, reduce re-offending and prevent future victims.

The probation service is part of the criminal justice system. We work with police, the courts and the prison service to make sure justice is delivered effectively within the Thames Valley. We help protect the public by assessing the risk posed by individual offenders and supervising them in the community. We cover diverse communities in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire with a total population of 2.2 million. TVP is committed to equality and diversity, both in the employment of staff and work with offenders and victims.
