We provide a citizen-focused, 24/7 police service, which aims to match the public’s trust and confidence in us with a quality of service that focuses on understanding and meeting the needs of all our communities and 4 million visitors to the area annually. Our policing area spans Bridgend, Cardiff, Swansea, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Neath, Port Talbot and the Vale of Glamorgan; it includes densely populated urban areas, valley communities, coastal areas and rural communities – 42% of the population of Wales.
