WHO WE ARE
South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust runs Torbay Hospital, an acute medium-sized district general hospital that serves a population of over 300,000 people living in Torbay and South Devon.
MORE ABOUT US
South Devon Healthcare was established in 1991 and became a foundation trust in 2007. As a foundation trust, we remain part of the NHS and subject to the same national standards and inspections. Our Board of Directors is accountable to local people, who are represented by elected members on our Council of Governors. We are a core partner on the Clinical Cabinet, a group of local senior clinicians and health service directors, which makes decisions about how to develop services to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The trust aims to recruit the best talent, regardless of sexual orientation. At the same time, we know that only by being truly inclusive and celebrating difference can we have a positive, productive and innovative workforce. Celebrating diversity does not stop at ackowledgement; we believe it is about valuing the contributions of all staff and actively promoting equality.
