WHO WE ARE
As the front line of the NHS in Scotland, our key role is to respond to 999 calls as quickly as possible with the most appropriate skills and experience.
MORE ABOUT US
We are a national service with a local feel. We have five operating divisions covering different regions of Scotland, all delivering a range of services from accident & emergency through to patient transport. As well as those directly relating to patient care – including those in control rooms, community paramedics and volunteers – we also have people in a range of support functions. We have a strong commitment to equality for all and recognise that improving what we do is a continuous process.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Almost 90% of our staff fulfil an operational role, with the remainder in managerial and support functions. For all our staff, there is the job satisfaction of knowing that what you do makes a difference. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and in particular from those who have a genuine interest in helping/caring for others – and who want to be a part of achieving the highest standards of patient care. We are determined to ensure our work is inclusive and continuously improving.
