MORE ABOUT US
The primary mission of the RAF is to defend the UK, though there’s much more breadth to the RAF than that. The RAF is always on call to help with humanitarian relief worldwide and provides the rapid effect that only air assets and air power can deliver. Around three-quarters of the RAF’s workforce is made up of ground support personnel and only five percent are pilots. The RAF is valued as a force for good, has Platinum Status with Race for Opportunity, is listed in the Times Top 50 Employers for Women and the Stonewall Top 100 Employers 2013.
