WHO WE ARE
The Royal Air Force (RAF) – agile, adaptable and capable – is a technologically advanced, forward-thinking organisation that considers teamwork vital to its success.
MORE ABOUT US
The primary mission of the RAF is to defend the UK, however there’s much more breadth to the RAF than that. With search and rescue operations both in Britain and around the world, the RAF is always on call to help with humanitarian relief – for example in the aftermath of the Asian tsunami. The RAF provides the rapid effect that only air assets and air power can deliver. Approximately three-quarters of the RAF’s workforce is made up of ground support personnel and only five percent are pilots. The RAF’s efforts are valued as a force for good.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are currently recruiting men and women from all backgrounds into a wide variety of jobs, with each role having different entry standards. Whether you’ve yet to attain any GCSEs/SCEs or are a degree graduate, there are over 50 careers to choose from, including current vacancies for medical and nursing officers, RAF regiment officers, pilots and air traffic controllers.
