WHO WE ARE
We are the charity that saves lives at sea. Our lifesaving operation provides lifeboats, lifeguards, safety advice and flood rescue.
MORE ABOUT US
Our lifesavers are at the ready 24/7 to help anyone in need around the coasts of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Most of our lifeboat crews are volunteers. They give their time and often put their safety on the line when going to the rescue. Volunteers and staff support these incredible people by raising funds and giving them the training and equipment they deserve. As a charity separate from government and independent of the coastguard, we rely on donations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our staff and volunteers make a real difference and we rely on the diversity of their skills, backgrounds and perspectives to deliver our lifesaving service. We are committed to being an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone, irrespective of gender, race, ethnic origin, disability, age, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or belief, marital or civil partnership status and social class. All we look for are the skills we need and a commitment to preventing lossnof life at sea.
