WHO WE ARE
We are a very proud and well-respected emergency service provider to the people of Nottinghamshire.
MORE ABOUT US
Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service creates safer communities by providing a wide range of services. These include: responding to fire emergencies; rescues on the county’s roads and rivers; fire investigation and enforcement work; and education and community safety activities with local people, agencies and schools. We also have a wide range of support services including HR, ICT, finance, stores, performance and health and safety. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the services we provide to the residents of Nottinghamshire.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The service has made great progress in achieving LGBT equality in recent years and was ranked 188th out of 376 organisations in the 2013 Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. We have supported International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) by flying rainbow flags from all of our fire stations and displaying supporting banners and were proud sponsors of Nottingham Pride 2013. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated people to provide excellent services to the people of Nottinghamshire in a variety of roles.
