QUICK FACTS
WHO WE ARE
We are responsible for the management and improvement of 29,000 council homes. We are run by a board of non- executive directors and chaired by a tenant.
MORE ABOUT US
The diversity of Nottingham’s communities is a huge asset – and also one of our strengths.
We have launched a three-year Equality and Diversity Strategy that links in to our corporate goals – with specific actions to improve conditions for LGB staff and a clear plan to tackle inequality in our communities.
We have an LGBT forum that works with managers to complete equality impact assessments. We held Nottingham’s first hate crime conference, increased our presence at Pride and held awareness-raising events for LGBT History Month.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We want Nottingham City Homes to be a great place to work, where all staff have a clear sense of direction and are ambitious to succeed. We work as one team to achieve our goals.
We listen to and respect the views of all, we encourage people to learn and develop, we nurture talent and encourage people to try things differently. We celebrate our success.
We respect all individuals and reflect the diverse communities we serve – and we aim to be a Stonewall Top 100 Employer by 2014.
