We provide urgent out-of-hospital care to around 3 million people in the North East of England.

We have a strong track record for delivering high-quality and good value patient care. Our accident & emergency and patient transport services are both supported by our two contact centres, which manage in excess of 800,000 calls per annum. We receive, prioritise and respond to over 360,000 emergency incidents every year. In addition, our patient transport service crews carry approximately one million patients every year, which involves over 5,000 journeys per day.
