Hackney is one of the most vibrant and diverse places in the world. There are more than 100 languages spoken here, and it’s a stone’s throw to the City and a bus ride to the West End. Hackney is an inner-London borough where one-third of the area is parks or open space, so it’s a great place to live, work or visit. It was also one of the host boroughs for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games (with around 30% of the Olympic zone within the borough). There are many different career paths to choose from in Hackney, ranging from frontline services to office jobs.
