WHO WE ARE
Over 4,000 staff, working in over 70 ambulance stations and offices, serving more than 7 million people living and working in London.

Our main role is to respond to emergency and urgent 999 calls, providing medical care to patients across the capital 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We also provide prearranged patient transport and a hospital bed-finding service. As well as roles directly related to caring for patients – including in our control room and response vehicles – we employ people in a wide range of different roles from professional and managerial to administrative and technical support. We work closely with other healthcare professionals and emergency services.
