There is a surprising number of police staff roles within the force and many of these can be supported by volunteers. We are seeking to increase our numbers of special constables who work alongside our regular police officers and there is a clear career path from the specials to the regulars. We police a mix of rural, coastal and urban environments from the New Forest to seaside towns, to the nightlife and busy ports of Portsmouth and Southampton.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for people who take pride in providing an excellent service to the public. You may have some unusual skills and experience to offer, or maybe this is your chance to get (back) into work as a volunteer.
