We’re an independent, not-for-profit organisation set up to sort out disputes that consumers and financial businesses aren’t able to resolve themselves.

We’re here to act fairly, reasonably and impartially – and our service is free for consumers to use. When we’re settling a dispute, we weigh up all the facts. And we always look beyond face value – in everything we do. So we look for people who share that kind of perspective. Our people are hugely important to us – and to our customers. That’s one of the reasons we place such an emphasis on staff engagement and developing our people. In fact, in 2013 our staff voted us into The Sunday Times 100 best not- for-profit organisations to work for.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We actively look for people from a wide range of backgrounds because we want our people to reflect the diversity of those whose complaints we settle. This keeps us in touch and connected – and able to see both sides of every story. So we believe our diversity is a big help in giving a great service to everyone, regardless of who they are. There is something that everyone here shares – and that’s our values. These include doing the right thing, respecting the needs of our customers and doing what we say we’ll do.
