We’re an independent, not-for-profit organisation set up to sort out problems that consumers and financial businesses aren’t able to resolve between them.

It’s our job to make balanced decisions without taking sides. So treating people fairly and equally is central to the work we do. The ombudsman is for everyone. We’re proud of our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender staff. By appreciating and embracing different ways of living and working, we create an environment that’s welcoming.
