WHO WE ARE
As the government’s advisers, we exist to champion England’s heritage and to safeguard the most significant remains of our national story for the future.
MORE ABOUT US
We do this by providing advice on, and caring for, historic places. We encourage people to enjoy and understand them, so that they in turn value and want to care for them. Our activities include advising government on which parts of our heritage are nationally important and local authorities on managing changes that may affect it. We care for the National Heritage Collection of historical places and archives. Through this collection, our events and publications we educate and entertain the public and encourage investment in heritage at risk.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for people who share our passion for the historic environment and want to help others to understand, value, care for and enjoy the national collection of historic places and archives that we look after. The skills we seek are set out in job adverts on our website. We also use a set of behaviours because it is important to us how we work with each other. We recognise the value of enabling our employees to be themselves, and are working with Stonewall to ensure that this is the experience of our LGB staff.
Sorry, no jobs are available at this time.
