WHO WE ARE
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
MORE ABOUT US
The CPS is the government department which advises on, and prosecutes, the majority of criminal cases within England and Wales. We work very closely with the police and other law enforcement agencies although we are completely independent. We have local offices throughout England and Wales with HQ offices in London and York, as well as CPS home workers. We also send liaison prosecutors to other jurisdictions to build relationships with legal partners overseas.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At the CPS we value diversity and welcome a wide variety of people who can apply themselves positively to the demands of the Criminal Justice Service (CJS). Our aim is to become a world-class prosecuting service at the heart of the CJS and help to build a fairer and more decent society, with a workforce that represents the communities that we serve. If you share our vision to create a more effective and accountable prosecution service, we look forward to hearing from you.
