The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve problems by providing free information and advice, and by influencing policy-makers. Citizens Advice bureaux are independent charities and members of Citizens Advice. Advice is open to all, regardless of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age, religion or nationality. Citizens Advice sets standards and provides bureaux with training, an advice and information system and other services. It also coordinates policy and campaigns, media, publicity and parliamentary work.
