WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A team player? Keen to challenge yourself? Then the Army could be for you. We welcome applications from British, Irish and Commonwealth citizens (with five years’ residency) aged 17–33 for soldiers and 18–26 for officers (extended to 29 in key trades). Quicker promotions exist for candidates with professional qualifications. Civilians with spare time can join the Army Reserve. Soldiers and officers should be aged 18–43, with an upper limit of 35 for potential officers. Those joining commit to a minimum of 19–27 days per year to qualify for a tax-free bounty.
